Having originally aspired to a period of study at Hull University, Antony Osborne almost slid into the Bretton community by default.  His experiences at Bretton served him well, however, and his lasting impressions were those of a most rewarding experience.

Freda Johnson

Freda Morgan (nee Johnson) 1958-60

English and Drama

“… There were about 100 students all training to teach either secondary or primary, and only disciplines such as Music, Art and Drama were taught as a two-year course. …”

Freda writes about her early experiences at Bretton and comments on the various influences on her life, and the adjustments that had to be made.
